Jena Hall, MD, FPRMS

Dr. Jena Hall is originally from Ottawa, Ontario. She completed her MD at the University of Toronto, and Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Queen’s University where she also completed a Master of Education through the Clinician Investigator Program. Jena moved to Calgary in 2021 to pursue a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPRMS).

Following fellowship, Dr. Hall joined the Pelvic Floor Clinic at Foothills Medical Center. She is appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine. She is proud to offer clinical and surgical treatments to patients suffering from pelvic floor disorders, while working in an academic center where she may teach others to do the same.

Dr. Hall’s research interests include surgical training in the OR and exploration of clinical learning environments. She is passionate about creating sustainable and supportive clinical training environments that foster and optimize collaborative learning. She is currently the Program Director for the University of Calgary’s Clinician Investigator Program, and the OBGYN Resident Research and Scholarly Pursuits Director. In addition, she is involved with several local (Office of Health and Medical Education Scholarship), national, and international medical education initiatives, including several with the International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE).

Dr. Hall’s hobbies include sailing, cooking, and exercise.
